09 Sep NBN opens up a big new world for city
The National Broadband Network went live in Rockingham on Friday.
More than 3300 residents and businesses within the town centre can now enjoy the benefits of the network.
Corporate affairs manager of NBN WA Ebony Aitken said it was exciting news for those who would be able to connect and experience fast and reliable broadband.
“The NBN provides opportunities to change the way West Australians enjoy in-home entertainment, conduct business and access medical services and e-learning resources,” she said.
